Singularity was really badly hurt by the new targeting system, and they just don't bring anything particularly interesting to the table. Adepts. I should give it a try. Coupled with the Omega DLC you actually get some rare class distinction and recognition for your brains, too. AI hacking is stupid, and Tactical Cloak writes out ME2's horrid AI all over the walls, as well as being boring. Less so in #1, without the cloak and without headshots. It was quite underpowered class thanks to thr silly barrier mechanics, but then Adept was my favorite again in ME3 and that guy is overpowered as fuck, so I felt vindicated. Sentinel. 3: Sentinel. ME3 Sentinel is so fun it should be illegal. Soldier. This is my case on why the infiltrator is the best class in Mass Effect 2. 2. There is no single best class. When I started Mass Effect 1, I went with soldier to get a handle for how the game played, kind of like taking a fighther/warrior in fantasy RPG's. 5 . I played as a soldier in ME1, but I think I wanna try something different this time, so, what class would you recommend me to play as? 4: Engineer. Infiltrator. Infiltrator. Vanguard again in ME2 for the biotic charge movie (I forget what it's actually called), but in ME3, I leaned more toward the Sentinel class. ), but my favorite class (and what I think is the "best" and versatile class) in both 2 and 3 is the Sentinel. Initially a skill type called Training is available but the skillset is able to be further expanded using the distribution of points into Skills. Sentinel. ME2 my favorite is Adept, by far. Mass Effect is the only game series where I've actually liked the sniper, and with that cloaking ability, it was great to use.
